Mrs. Erika Ashley-Atkins
Vestry Treasurer
Erika "Darling" Ashley-Atkins has made St. Mary's her home since 2018. On any day she may be part of the altar party, reading scripture, counting offerings, or preaching as a member of the Laity. She also serves as the Vestry Treasurer and coordinates weddings.
A native of Johnson County, Kansas, Erika raised her family in Jackson County, Missouri. There she and her husband (Bryan Atkins) lived with their three children for twenty years. Erika considers herself fortunate to continue multiple generations' tradition of living on both sides of the Missouri-Kansas state line.
Erika's chosen career was in regulatory compliance with an emphasis on contract language, data and actuarial reporting. Retiring early due to medical disability, currently Erika volunteers her time and studies at the Bishop Kemper School of Ministry. She is contemplating the Diaconate.
