On October 20, 2024, the Rinehart Memorial Garden was dedicated on the Feast of St. Luke. This garden is a collaboration between St. Mary's and the St. Luke's Health System, serving as a resting place for the unclaimed ashes of deceased individuals who lack next of kin, a faith community, or the means for burial.
The garden was made possible through the generous donation of Tom and Ruthie Rinehart and a grant from the Northwest-Metro Deanery of the Diocese of West Missouri. The Rinehart Memorial Garden is a beautiful and meaning addition to St. Mary's, embodying our ministry of love and service to the community.
