social justice and outreach

Our Vision
"God places us in the world as his fellow workers-agents of transfiguration. We work with god so that  injustice is transfigured into justice, so there will be more compassion, caring, that there will be more laughter and joy, that there will be more togetherness in God's world."
-Archbishop Desmond Auto, Anglican Bishop, Theologian, and Nobel Peace Prize recipient

Who We Are
We are brothers and sisters united by our Anglo-Catholic faith to serve as followers of Jesus to bring light into a troubled world.  Through volunteering, the St. Mary's family unites to make individual lives and the community better in our urban neighborhood and beyond.  Our volunteer programs reflect and inform St. Mary's commitment to social justice.

Please contact Social Justice Co-Chairs Margaret Akdeniz and Lydia Nebel if you are interested in getting involved by filling out the information below and hitting submit. One of them will contact you soon.
