When: Sundays in June and July 2018
This summer, we will begin a reading club at St. Mary's as a starting ground for Christian education. C.S. Lewis, an Anglican lay theologian, wrote many works which inspired Christians to re-imagine the world in which they lived through a renewed Christian lens. The Screwtape Letters, one of his most popular works, calls Christians to reflect on the many influences calling for our time and devotion. Over nine weeks, meeting in the Tower Room following the reception after the 10am Sunday mass, we will discuss this work and the ways it shapes our Christian lives.
You can buy or borrow a copy of this book from many bookstores or libraries. The current price on Amazon is around $10 for paperback of $4 for Kindle.
