Mr. Thomas Flint
Vestry Member and Treasurer
Alternate Diocesan Convention Delegate
Thomas began attending St Mary’s Episcopal Church in 2009. He was confirmed as a member in 2010. Some of the duties held as a member of St Mary’s have been alter guild, choir member, greeter, and lector. Thomas became a member of the vestry beginning in 2025.
“I actually began my religious affiliation in the Baptist church and attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Discovering the Anglo-Catholic (Church of Atonement) tradition while living in Chicago was a great blessing in my life after twenty years of doubt over organized religion. Moving back to Kansas City led me to the doors of St Mary’s.
Thomas has experienced much change and growth with this church over his years of membership. His hope for the future of this parish is to continue to assist in the welcoming atmosphere and maintaining its beautiful structure and message. His personal goals are to positively grow in a loving relationship with Christ and keep his commandment, loving God with heart, mind and soul as well as loving my neighbors.
