The Reverend Lynda Hurt

​Deacon Lynda Hurt was confirmed into The Episcopal Church in 2013 after years of attending St. Mary’s as a ‘perpetual visitor’.  Previously, her life’s work was devoted to missions, youth and young adult ministry, and church communications and administration in the United Methodist Church. She graduated from Kansas State University, attended St. Paul School of Theology and received a certificate in diaconal studies from the Bishop Kemper School for Ministry in May of 2020.  Lynda and her husband live in Mission, Kansas. She was ordained to the Diaconate and assigned to St. Mary's by the Bishop on November 16th, 2020.
